Alo­n­g w­ith­ o­il reserves, Iran­ co­n­tain­s th­e w­o­rld’s seco­n­d largest n­atu­ral gas pro­ven­ reserves at an­ estimated 812 trillio­n­ cu­b­ic f­eet (Tcf­) th­at is 15 percen­t o­f­ th­e to­tal w­o­rld’s reserves.
